This is my second Robinson book ( I also read Ministry of the Future), I find Robinson's prose a bit utilitarian, but gosh, so many imaginative ideas grounded in science I hadn't thought of only 100+ pages in. Looking forward to tackling the whole trilogy, as Cixin Liu's trilogy is a favorite of mine for the breadth and scope.
People give him a hard time for being dense. But I find him remarkably lyrical and good with characterization. It's just spread pretty thinly over a lot of pages.
How do you like Red Mars? It's one of my favorite books of all time!
