Just that line "Most Farmerlings play with gender like the wind plays with leaves" is so evocative and really tells me this is a very different world from our own (in a good, appealing way for me) which I think is one of Cloud Empress's most exciting elements. It's a beautiful and terrible world, not just another one-note, dark and grimy post-apocalypse.
I love seeing more Queer and gender related content for Mothership and Mothership adjacent games. I know so many Queer, trans, and non-binary people in the creator community, and I think it’s really important to express more of that in all of our work. I’m excited to announce my first explicitly trans module in a few weeks, and my large adventure is even more political.
It’s so much easier to put myself out there in that way when I see you doing it as well. I get scared of online harassment of myself and my family, but it’s too important to back down now in our current political climate where people want to deny the existence of myself and my trans child.
